PENNY SOTO's love of color led her to a rather unusual approach to painting. In this video workshop you will learn how she sketches and shades in the values on 300# paper - then underpaints, overpaints, lifts and pushes color until she achieves the glowing, radiant, saturated color that she desires. Using Penny's approach you, too can confidently tackle whatever subject you choose.

Materials: Paints: Penny encourages you to experiment with the latest pigments and find those that give you the most pleasure. Herown palette, Spin-a-Color holds 84 different hues. Paper: 300# Arches Bright White Cold Press. Brushes: a variety of Watercolor 'rounds', bristle flats (oil/acrylic brushes). Misc: drafting brush, white artists tape, kneaded eraser, paper towels.
